The chiller bypass hose is used to connect the filter directly back into the cold plunge tub without going through the chiller, and it is just for the Modtub 2.0. By using this hose, you can disconnect the chiller and bring it inside during the colder months to protect the chiller. This product is not used during normal operation with the chiller.
